Our worldwide search for the best lots and harvest yields has taken us to six continents. We now supply spices, teas, oils and much more from 38 countries—providing them to manufacturers, extractors, distributors and even small, family-owned specialty food shops.

Chief Executive Officer/President

Rishi A. Nagrani is CEO, President & Founder of Sapna Foods, Inc. Rishi started the business in 1997 and has spent his entire career focusing on the international supply chain of specialty foods from remote origins. Rishi was a collegiate athlete in soccer, an accomplished tri-athlete, a classical pianist and an Instrument Rated Pilot. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and four daughters.

William Sowers

William Sowers

Vice President

William Sowers is Vice President and oversees purchasing and global procurement for Sapna Foods, Inc. He is a native of Atlanta and graduated from Kennesaw State University. William started working in operations for Sapna Foods in the early 2000s and has extensive knowledge of specialty food ingredients. He enjoys watching sports, playing golf, traveling and spending time with his wife and three sons.

Jonathon Richardson

Jonathon Richardson

Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs

Jonathon Richardson is the Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs at Sapna Foods, Inc. He joined Sapna Foods in 2018 and grew up in Metro Atlanta, where he still resides today. Jonathon oversees Sapna’s quality and improvement efforts, including developing policies and procedures, training employees, and facilitating change throughout the organization to achieve internal and external needs and expectations. Away from work, he enjoys time with his young family, cooking, good music, and battling par on the golf course.

Sterling Pemberton

Sterling Pemberton

Flight Operations & Strategic Sales

Sterling Pemberton is the Director of Flight Operations & Strategic Sales at Sapna Foods Inc. After joining the team, he has focused on increasing efficiencies in production and the overall operations at Sapna. Sterling was a Professional Pilot major at Middle Tennessee State University. After college he became a corporate pilot on the Embraer Phenom jet and is also a mentor to new Phenom pilots. While not at work, sterling enjoys playing golf, and going to the lake in his hometown of Byrdstown, Tennessee.

Sam Hagopian

Controller

Sam Hagopian is the Controller at Sapna Foods, Inc. Sam is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Penn State University with his B.A. in Telecommunications management and minor in Mandarin Chinese. After bouncing around different career fields for a few years, Sam fell in love with finance and accounting when he volunteered for a job at his prior employer doing payroll, accounts receivable & accounts payable. When not crunching the numbers, Sam enjoys staying active and physically fit, trying new restaurants around Atlanta (or anywhere!) and playing his drumset.

Rosalie Piazza

Business Development & National/Key Accounts Sales Representative

Rosalie Piazza is a Business Development & National/Key Accounts Sales Representative at Sapna Foods, Inc. She was born and raised in the Boston area and still resides there today. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and has spent the last five years in the food industry. Her family pioneered the Boston Produce Market over a hundred years ago and has been in wholesale produce since. That is where her food industry journey started. In her free time, you can find Rosalie practicing Yoga or spending time with her family and puppy Guinness.

Sales Representative

Evan Sowers is Sales Representative at Sapna Foods, Inc. He was born and raised in Atlanta and still lives there today with his son and daughter. Evan has a Bachelor's Degree in Business and spent over a decade in the food service industry, which provided him with a vast knowledge of specialty food ingredients. For leisure, Evan enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, reading and cooking.

Shipping & Receiving Manager

Jimmy Bishop is Sapna Foods Shipping/Receiving Manager. He is a native of Atlanta, having lived all around the city. Jimmy has been in shipping/receiving management for 15 years. He is always looking for the best and most efficient process to get the products to the customers. He enjoys spending time with friends and family. Also enjoys college football, cookouts, and metal concerts.

Ryan Cofield

Graphic Design

Ryan Cofield is Sapna Foods Graphic Designer. He has been an artist most of his life and found interest in graphic design through creating artwork for local musicians. He is native to the Atlanta area, and in his free time he enjoys making music, attending concerts, and cooking.
