Food Safety has become a major issue over the past six months and the demand for strict Food Safety measures has prompt us to put in place this new Food Safety Policy. Sapna Foods, Inc. has partnered with Biosystems Atlanta to run all of their lab work and issue the Certificates of Analysis for all of our items.
Starting in June 2007 every item that is imported by Sapna Foods will be have a Certificate of Analysis on file available for our clients upon request. Dr. Paul Batra at Biosystems Atlanta has carried out all of our lab work for several years, and now has helped put in place this new policy.
Although we have tested all of our lots, now we have a policy in place. "Even though the costs are substantial, Food Safety has to become the utmost priority for American Food companies, " says Sapna Foods, Inc.'s CEO and President Rishi A. Nagrani. "Ultimately, the responsibility of Food Safety falls on the American Food Companies and we at Sapna Foods, Inc can ensure our clients food standards that exceed FDA and USDA standards by implementing this new policy."
